Egg Coffee – Cà Phê Trứng (Vietnam)

Vietnamese Egg Coffee (Cà Phê Trứng) is a creamy, boldly flavorful drink that combines strong coffee with a sweet, frothy egg yolk topping. Originating in Hanoi, this coffee is often compared to “liquid tiramisu” due to its rich, custard-like texture.

Perfect for those who love a smooth yet intense coffee experience, this comforting drink is a must-try!

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  • 1 small cup (120 ml) of strong brewed Solai coffee (or double shots espresso)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp. sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)
